“This will be the third year that we will hold our launch at the Parkview Manor "(Don Mills Rd. and Eglinton Avenue)," said Toronto Revellers Cultural Association’s Tronja St. Omer. "There is ample parking and lots of room inside. Join us for Toronto Caribbean Carnival 2025—dare to dance amidst the stars!"
Although plans are not yet fullyconfirmed, the Revellers are preparing for a full evening of entertainment, including DJs, a rhythm band, sponsors like the island of Barbados, and a fully stocked bar. The Revellers typically attract many sports figures and entertainers to the hottest ticket in Toronto, the Revellers VIP lounge at the launch, but for now, they’re keeping their guest list under wraps.
"We have nine sections this year," continued St. Omer, "and each section will be part of the costume reveal. That works out to about 55 costumed models taking the stage for the big show."
Each section will be taking orders at the launch, and the Toronto Revellers are also offering an exclusive early-access opportunity for masqueraders ahead of the official event on April 12. Under the theme Paradise, this pre-registration allows participants to secure their spot in the band, choose their preferred section, and guarantee their costume selection before the official launch. Additional perks—such as priority registration and distribution—make this an attractive option for carnival enthusiasts eager to join the Toronto Caribbean Carnival experience. Early Bird Costume Registration is now open on their website.
This year’s theme, Paradise, is more than just a name. Jamaal Magloire’s band describes it as:
"Prepare to be transported to a world where fantasy and the extraordinary become your reality. In this realm, the ordinary fades, and every heartbeat pulses with the rhythm of magic. This isn't your typical tropical paradise; it's an artful enigma where the lines between dreams and reality beautifully blur. Imagine electric vines spiraling toward an indigo sky, playful whirls of neon clouds, and crystalline lagoons reflecting surreal constellations."
