 Moonzir Butt Wins! Mr. CHIN International Bikini 201l chosen today at the Scotiabank CHIN International Picnic,  the Bandshell, CNE Grounds, Toronto. WINNER: This year’s winner is 22-year old Moonzir Butt.  The Oakville native beat out 14 other contestants in this evening’s outdoor competition. Second prize was awarded to 29-year old John Burdo and third place went to Troy Campbell. The Kamala Harris Jape That Wasn’t a Joke It started as a University of Windsor Creative Writing application. But in my mind, it was also a master plan to save the Auto Pact, fix international trade, and maybe even rejig the White House seating chart. My assignment to myself was simple: Write a story so good it saves the Windsor–Detroit auto industry from Trumpian-style tariffs. Hand Kamala Harris a shiny new PhD while I’m at it. Nothing too ambitious. Here I am, back on campus after 53 years. Most students worry about essays or midterms—I’m plotting a geopolitical coup disguised as creative writing homework. My plan? Given the hard feelings surrounding the historic Sublimnos Project, the deteriorating, remains of that underwater habitat could well be an above-water Lake Ontario eyesore for years until rust indeed becomes dust. Back in the summer of 1969 Sublimnos was set down in the waters of Georgian Bay near Tobermory, Ontario the self-described "fresh water scuba diving capital of the world" .It was a bargain basement underwater research station. Constructed from a railroad tanker for just $10,000.00, Sublimnos became Canada’s first subsurface research laboratory.
