NAKED IN THE STREETS THIS AUGUST?

                 Rated R!!! Section Thinks So 


by Stephen Weir It is not as though section leader Thea Jackson didn’t warn people who attended the weekend Revellers Costume launch that her section was going to be an “adults only” catwalk show. In the days leading up to the Park View Manor fete she sent social media notices saying that “When you just know you are everything I will be presenting to you the Rated R!!!! (section),” she wrote. “For 2023 my section is NOT for the weak!” 

It turns out she wasn’t kidding! Picture four models snapping whips as they came onto the stage. Black and purple skimpy S&M inspired fish net costumes with black taped breasts, and small silver codpieces to keep it all legal, they put on quite the full contact performance.

“The 500+ crowd went crazy when my section came out on stage,  it Is not seen in Toronto  so they loved it,” reported Jackson, “ It was well received, I think we are going to have a lot of naked people on the road this year!”

The R-Section was just one of fourteen sections on stage that night and early morning. With a theme of “It’s Show Time”, the other section wore costumes with a modicum of modesty while staying very sexy. All the sections are offering costumes for revellers of shapes, sizes, and modesty tastes. 
The Island of Barbados is one of the major sponsors and had a large presence at the late night launch. Partygoers packed around the island’s large presentation space, loudly shouting  their appreciation for the high-quality costumes and 


energetic Bajan atmosphere.
“Our band launch event was a huge success! The costumes were simply stunning, and we want to thank everyone who contributed to making this night a spectacular one,” posted the Revellers the next day. “Get ready for an unforgettable carnival experience.”
NBA great Jamaal Magloire, a well-known figure in Toronto’s carnival scene, says that his Toronto Revellers band are primed and ready for the road. 

Bare as you dare? Thea Jackson and the rest of the Revellers sections have set up a showroom that opens this weekend. The Mas Camp, as of press time, is at 2450 Victoria Park Avenue in North Toronto.

Given the hard feelings surrounding the historic Sublimnos Project, the deteriorating, remains of that underwater habitat could well be an above-water Lake Ontario eyesore for years until rust indeed becomes dust.  . Chasing Ink With Camera! One Day On A Little Cayman Dive Boat The compass has a dive flag. Celtic ink with 3 waves for the dive world Stripping down in Little Cayman's only food store Little Cayman Island, population 200, attracts only two types of visitors.  Ornithologists. Experienced Scuba Divers. Ornithologists because of the birds. The largest colony of Red Footed Boobies in the Caribbean is found on Little Cayman's Booby Pond. Scuba Divers go there because of the sheer wall of coral found in the island's underwater preserve, just north of the island. My wife and I returned from Little Cayman Island on Sunday.  We weren't there for the birds. Flamingo is the logo for dive haven Bonaire. We spent most of our week on a couple of dive boats. One large scuba boat was operated by Reef Divers out of the Little Cayman Resort.  The other, a small Boston Whaler operated by three divers, was out on the reef hunting the invasive lionfish.
