Scarborough Festival Is On The Move
Due to the
overwhelming pre-event interest in the coming 4th Annual TD Presents:
Scarborough Community Multicultural Festival, organizers have moved the
location for the event. Originally
scheduled to take place at Centennial Park, it will now be held at the MasarykTown Park, on the Scarborough
Golf Club Road in Scarborough.
The free festival
is billed as being “three-days of excitement and fun and will be an explosion
of food, culture and diversity.” The fete will feature music and dance
from around the world. It runs August 24-26, 10am -11pm
The festival motto
is “Celebrating Scarborough Rich Culture”. The stage presentations are hosted
by radio station G98.7's Miss Tatiana King – (MissGO2Girl.com) along with Marlon
Palmer and Bollywood Star Raman Shar.
Returning this
year, Scarborough Community Multicultural Festival will begin its festival with
a Canadian Citizenship and Reaffirmation ceremony. Over 100 candidates will
receive their citizenship at a special festival ceremony on Friday, August 24
at 2pm.
